Untitled 2016
Rolling pin, porcelain, different kinds of wood, clamp, book, part of table, lamp, A4-papers, strap, computer mouse, stone, tooth picks, transparent film, metal, milk, straw. Sound (played through loudspeakers) made with the porcelain sculptures in a rhythm of 6 to 3 seconds (sound 6 seconds then quiet 3 seconds and so on); the same interval as an old landline telephone. This sound was interspersed with the sound of the first breath after a 19 second long pause in breathing, from a person with sleep apnea. Variable dimensions. The piece was installed on a walk through balcony with glass walls and seen both from inside and outside of the building and heard from the cafeteria. Royal College of Arts, Stockholm.
